Donald Trump disrupts G7 women's empowerment session by showing up late

Earlier on Saturday, President Trump concluded his visit to the Group of Seven summit with warnings to USA allies, saying if they don't eliminate barriers to trade, they could lose access to the US economy.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday said he had instructed his representatives not to endorse a joint communique put out by the Group of Seven leaders after what he called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "false statements" at a news conference.

The Canadian prime minister's office responded to Trump's tweets accusing Trudeau of "false statements" on Saturday, saying that the Prime Minister said nothing during the G7 summit that he had not said previously.

The photo of an isolated Donald Trump seemingly being chided by global leaders at the G7 summit has swept the world, hours after the US President dashed hopes of a consensus on trade by calling the Canadian Prime Minister "very dishonest and weak".

Trudeau said he had told Trump that the talks had been made more complicated by a USA decision to impose tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum, ostensibly for national security reasons.

The G7 summit came amid rising tensions between the United States and other member nations - Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan - over Trump's recent steel and aluminum tariffs.

Indigenous representation is also generally very poor among candidates running for seats in Ottawa or at Queen's Park. The Liberals came to power in 2003 under Dalton McGuinty, and when he stepped down in 2013, Wynne took the reins.

But Trump's outburst suggested that any deal had collapsed, and his more or less explicit threat to impose sanctions on imports of cars will outrage his ostensible allies - in particular Germany and Canada who produce many for the large U.S. market.

"We had some strong, firm conversations on trade and specifically on American tariffs". "And we charge nothing", he said.

Mr Trump's strained relationship with the rest of the G7 was in evidence on Saturday when he arrived late for the opening session, with Mr Trudeau addressing a gathering that included an empty chair where the president was meant to be.

"We are focused on everything we accomplished here at the G7 summit", the statement, released by Cameron Ahmad, said.

The U.S. would not endorse the joint communique signed by the other G-7 member countries, Trump wrote, after Trudeau had said all countries signed it, and appeared to threaten more tariffs against Canada.

Trump cited progress on reaching an agreement on the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico, saying the final outcome would lead either to an improved trade deal or separate pacts with the two USA neighbors.

ZTE will also provide access to a team for a period of 10 years to monitor the company's compliance with US export control laws. No American company is allowed to export products to those on this list, meaning ZTE was cut off from US component suppliers.

The top German diplomat specifically referenced Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, the Paris climate accords, and the imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminum as unfathomable measures to take against his nation's closest allies.

Trump is issuing a stern warning to foreign countries not to retaliate against United States tariffs on the imports of steel and aluminum.

But I feel really confident", Trump said of Monday's meeting, which is the first between a North Korean leader and sitting USA president, "It's never been done, It's never been tested.

"I have made it very clear to the President that it is not something we relish doing, but it something that we absolutely will do", Mr. Trudeau said.

On Canada, he is repeating his criticism of Canadian dairy but says he wants to make a deal on NAFTA, with two different types of sunset clauses - a stumbling block for Canada in the past.

In the first quarter, three players made three-pointers in a span of 43 seconds. "Self-inflicted, post-game after game one". I want to see Quinn Cook come back a better player. "And nobody has left here and become as big as LeBron".
