Hamilton blunder leads to seven-year first

Montreal has been kind to the British driver, who claimed his maiden F1 win at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 2007.

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel of Germany captures the pole position during qualifying at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

It meant that Hamilton missed out on a front row start with Bottas qualifying second and under-fire Dutchman Max Verstappen of Red Bull taking third place.

Asked about his driving style on Thursday after arriving in Montreal, he said, "I get really exhausted of all the questions".

Former Senate intel committee staffer indicted
Watkins revealed to the Times that she had a personal relationship with Wolfe, but she said that she did not use him as a source. It is alleged that Wolfe used several means to contact reporters, including Signal and WhatsApp.

The Finn said: "That was close, very close". He spent most of the second practice session in the pits waiting for his team to iron out an electrical issue, and managed just 17 laps in the session. "I guess I woke up the right way and what a day". "The auto was incredible in qually".

"That's why I am very happy to have qualified on pole". "I was a lot happier with the auto and I think we can carry that into the race". "We've understood where and why our tyres didn't last and there's some fundamental things we've changed on the auto which affected it".

Elaborating on his small mistake, Vettel says he was searching for small improvements between his two runs in Q3 and was unsure which of the two laps was going to prove to be quickest. "It was especially nice on my last lap to see all the Canadian flags waving to me". We were chasing our tail a bit more.

"I need to look into it to see exactly what it is, but that was definitely a good chunk of time there. But for sure qualifying is not as important as Sunday so we've got to go well then too". Big relief when I heard it was enough.

Ronaldo Makes An ‘Irreversible’ Decision To Leave Real Madrid
Their World Cup-winning side of 2002 was loaded with attacking talent and captured the imagination of a global audience. I don't want to take over from the unique moment of my teammates who deserve it, who are real champions.

During a media event Thursday at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Vettel was asked what his favourite moment is from racing in Montreal. It's a great result. He left the heritage, so the people who fell in love with motor sport back then, it's still them hanging around and their kids and maybe grandchildren by now, I don't know. "It's great when you have a session like that".

All five of those drivers had been in the drop zone after their first runs in Q2, but despite all finding time on their second set of hypersofts none were able to break into the top 10. "Every session we made progress".

"In terms of strategy, we did what we wanted to do", Vettel said.

He has raced in the F2 series the last two seasons and now sits 10th in F2 standings after eight races this year, including a third-place finish at Baku, Azerbaijan.

England captain Harry Kane is excited to be part of Tottenham's future after signing a new six-year contract. Kane is believed to have received a bumper pay rise by signing a new long-term contract at Tottenham.
