Kabul welcomes Taliban's agreement to truce

The terrorist group, Taliban, were responsible for two assaults in Afghanistan, even after having agreed upon not a three day cease fire for the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.

Taliban insurgents announced only three days of a cease-fire, promising not to launch attacks against the Afghan government during that time.

At least 15 security personnel killed in a Taliban attack in Kunduz province of Afghanistan, a local news agency reported.

However, the movement warned in a "WhatsApp" statement that it will continue operations against the foreign troops stationed in Afghanistan, adding that it will strongly defend itself against any attack.

Hours before accepting the truce, the militants stormed military bases in western and northern Afghanistan, killing almost 40 soldiers.
