Dennis Rodman Weeps With Joy on Live TV Over Trump-Kim Summit

Rodman first met Kim in North Korea in 2013 to watch United States exhibition basketball team Harlem Globetrotters play a North Korean team in Pyongyang.

Dennis' fans threatened him.'When I said those damn things when I went home I got so many death threats, ' Dennis continued.

"I asked him. I said I have something to say from North Korea and he just brushed me off. If they can move the ships back from South Korea, then I could do what I have to do to listen.' I tried to do that with Obama, and Obama didn't give me the time of day".

"(Kim) is trying to change his people and his culture for a little bit, and I think Donald Trump did a great job at keeping his composure and understand that Kim Jong Un wants to have trust in America", Rodman told reporters on Tuesday. "I was the only one".

Rodman arrived in Singapore around midnight Monday, hours before President Donald Trump was set to meet Kim for an historic summit.

Trump breaks with G7 joint statement
Trump tried to lighten the mood friday with the summit host. "Americans stand with you, even if our president doesn't", he wrote. But the lead ministers from both countries talked trade on the sidelines of the G7 leaders' meeting on Friday.

"I didn't have no one to see me".

"This guy wants to be around the world", Rodman said of Kim.

Rodman, wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, had an emotional reaction to the summit from Singapore while talking with CNN.

Mr Rodman struck up an unlikely friendship with Mr Kim over their shared love of basketball.

He also took the opportunity to take a swipe at former President Barack Obama, who Rodman said never even gave him "the time of day".

Pompeo says North Korea could get ‘unique’ security guarantees
Rodman appeared in Trump's Celebrity Apprentice reality TV show, only to be booted off because he misspelled Melania Trump's name. He explained that he gave the North Korean official Trump's book , "Art of the Deal", while he was in North Korea.

"I got so many death threats", Rodman told the CNN host. That said, he told Cuomo that he was not "in this for the money". "I'm so happy", wiping away tears from beneath a large pair of black sunglasses.

Rodman is one of the few westerners to have met the North Korean leader on visits to the capital city of Pyongyang. "I'll tell you what the Marshall wants more than anything".

Trump left Monday's one-on-one talks touting success and the "excellent relationship" he now has with Kim.

It is unknown if North Korea will be willing to put its nukes on the table in talks with the US. "I said to everybody, the door will open".

Before an interview with Rodman on "Cuomo Prime Time", Clapper said he had long thought Rodman was an important part of the process. Therefore, it only seems right that Potcoin made an appearance during the meeting between the American and North Korean leaders.

Fox News host calls Trump a 'dictator' in TV gaffe
But Twitter , unlike Scaramucci, glommed on to her line and hung on for hours to the trending topic. US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are due to meet on Tuesday.
