Domino's Pizza offering to fill in potholes nominated by customers

"We can't stand by and let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped. We don't want to lose any great-tasting pizza to a pothole, ruining a wonderful meal", said Russell Weiner, president of Domino's, in a news release on Monday. In fact, the town of Milford has said that Domino's help was much appreciated, given the city's "limited resources".

That's right - Domino's Pizza is in the pothole-patching business, teaming with cities around the country to fill rutted roads with its "Paving for Pizza" promotion. If their town is selected, the customer will be notified and the city will receive funds to help fix roads so pizzas make it home safely. They can dent your auto, burst your tires, cause serious injuries to cyclists-and (heaven forbid) cause irreparable damage to your pizza, says Domino's.

Microsoft then emphasized that point by pouring autumn leaves from the ceiling onto the crowd of thousands in the theater. The game is set in Britain and features dynamic seasons in a shared open world where you play with the entire community.

Domino's has even included a road condition meter on its website to show how pizzas are affected by mild, moderate, critical and catastrophic road conditions. Their fixed potholes also carried a KFC logo in chalk that washed away after the first rainfall.
