Fox News host calls Trump a 'dictator' in TV gaffe

Appearing on Fox & Friends Sunday to discuss President Donald Trump's upcoming Singapore summit with North Korean dictator Jim Jong Un, Mooch got interrupted by program host Abby Huntsman when footage of de-planing Trump appeared on screen.

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are due to meet on Tuesday.

Huntsman, whose father is Jon Huntsman, the ambassador to Russian Federation and former Republican presidential candidate, was discussing Trump's arrival with Anthony Scaramucci, one of Trump's short-lived White House communications directors.

But the daughter of US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman later apologised on air for what she had said. "I did not mean that, my mistake, so I apologise for that".

USA hails progress ahead ahead of Trump-Kim meeting
Tensions between the two countries escalated in 2017 after Pyongyang stepped up efforts to boost its nuclear weapons programme. Its outcome could prove pivotal in determining whether the two nations pursue a lasting peace or a fresh military conflict.

A Fox News host apologized Sunday on the air after referring to the United States-North Korea summit as "a meeting between two dictators".

But Twitter, unlike Scaramucci, glommed on to her line and hung on for hours to the trending topic. I'll never claim to be a flawless human being.

"Apologized on the show".

Also, a viewer asked Huntsman about the "dictator" reference, which elicited an acknowledgment of the gaffe by Huntsman on Twitter-which, we suppose, makes her on-air apology official?

What Game Were You Most Excited by From EA's 2018 E3 Conference?
For the first time since Madden '08 , EA Sports will launch a full Madden game for Windows PC via its Origin service. There will be no loot boxes in the game, nor any other pay-to-play schemes that give players unfair advantages.

I "feel really great, we're gonna have a great discussion and a terrific relationship", Trump said.

"Tough doing a live show", one tweet said.

Many described Huntsman's words as a "Freudian slip", while others claimed the network, known for its favorable coverage of Trump, had finally told "the truth".
