Paul raccoon reaches roof after death-defying climb up downtown tower

The raccoon, who was dubbed #mprraccoon, was finally captured after trappers lured it with food on top of the UBS Building in St. Paul.

- Tim Nelson (@timnelson_mpr) June 12, 2018 The #mprraccoon is now 20 stories above the roof of Town Square, more than 200 feet above street level.

As a raccoon scaled a St. Paul, Minn. skyscraper on Tuesday, social media got wind of it and cheered it on.

USA offers 'unique' guarantees to North Korea on eve of summit
Mr Kim's itinerary was reported in detail, which is a rarity for the state's media, according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency. AP media relations director Lauren Easton said that the outlet was "troubled" by the press' limited access to some of the events.

There wasn't much St Paul Animal Control could do because a rescue mission would be too unsafe for both the raccoon and the workers.

"One of my colleagues spotted the raccoon on, kind of the ground floor, sitting on a ledge on Monday - it looked like a brown lump, nearly like a cat sitting there", Evan Frost told the BBC in the early hours of Wednesday. After getting as high as the 23rd floor, it was down to the 17th late Tuesday night and appeared to be resting.

The raccoon was first spotted on a ledge Tuesday morning, just a few stories high.

Elon Musk’s ‘Not a Flamethrower’ Devices Show Up on eBay for Thousands
The announcement of the flamethrower sales followed the company selling roughly 50,000 hats for $20 each, raising $1m in revenue. Musk replied to him: "We don't think our product will be the cause of any wildfires, but The Boring Company is donating $10k".

Then around 2 a.m. Wednesday, it started climbing again, moving from window to window, until it reached the corner of the UBS Building, then the roof at around 2:30 a.m. "We're hoping it gets to the top so we can set a trap for it there".

The woodland creature also had its own Twitter account, with one tweet saying: "'I made a big mistake".

"And we'll hope animals do what animals do", said Department of Safety and Inspections spokeswoman Laurie Brickley.

Thiem for a change? Or same old Nadal script?
Yet Thiem's recovery was exceptional, moving out of sight with a ruthless second break and a confident hold to wrap up the opener. Earlier, Thiem needed to survive a nasty bout of the jitters to see off Marco Cecchinato and reach his first Grand Slam final.

James Gunn, who directed Guardians of the Galaxy, a movie that featured a smartass character named Rocket Raccoon, said he will donate $1,000 to a charity for anyone who rescues the raccoon.
