Apple will throw forensics cops off the iPhone Lightning port every hour

The research note also claims that in order to reduce charging costs, Apple may replace Broadcom with Texas Instruments for its wireless charging technology for the new LCD iPhone model.

However, Apple denied the changes were created to thwart United States law enforcement.

Apple said that after it learned of techniques being used against iPhones, it reviewed the operating system code and made a number of improvements to the security.

Apple is reportedly closing a loophole that allows locked iPhones to be accessed without their owners' passcodes, disabling a method often used by law enforcement.

United Nations Assembly blames Israel for Gaza violence, but not Hamas
It "deplores the firing of rockets from the Gaza Strip against Israeli civilian areas", but doesn't say who is doing the firing. US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley speaks in favor of an amendment condemning Hamas during a General Assembly debate.

Since then, law enforcement agencies across the country have increasingly employed that strategy to get into locked iPhones they hope will hold the key to cracking cases. That stand-off ended when the Department of Justice said it had found a third party that could unlock the iPhone without Apple's help. "We're constantly strengthening the security protections in every Apple product to help customers defend against hackers, identity thieves and intrusions into their personal data", the company told Reuters. That same access can be exploited by special police-purchased tools to break into fully-locked iPhones.

It's unclear what took Apple so long to close an iPhone entryway that had become well-known among legal authorities and, presumably, criminals as well.

Law enforcement and security teams are unlikely to be the only people affected. iPhone peripherals have industrial and medical uses - and DJs had better not wander too far from the decks.

The new changes could stoke another round of debate between Apple and law enforcement.

Fury fails to impress as farcical return says little about his condition
I got four rounds instead of ten seconds. "I'll have more rounds and fight a better opponent", said Fury of his next fight. Fury believes he will soon be ready to take on the likes of heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

News of Apple's planned software update has begun spreading through security blogs and law enforcement circles - and many in investigatory agencies are infuriated.

On Wednesday, Apple told PCMag the change to the Lightning port wasn't meant to thwart the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Apple said that it has a team that responds to law enforcement and national security requests 24 hours a day. In 2016, Apple refused to co-operate with an Federal Bureau of Investigation request to unlock the phone of a gunman who, with his wife, killed 14 people in San Bernardino in 2015.

He left the stable barn and I was watching the other horses and they were all skittish and he walked up there just like King Kong. "He is a Triple Crown victor and he's undefeated", said Repole, emphasizing his admiration for the powerful, 6-for-6 colt.
