Canada parliament slams US' Trudeau attack

A few hours earlier, Trudeau had told reporters that all seven leaders had come together to sign the joint declaration. Addressing reporters in Singapore ahead of Trump's summit Tuesday with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Pompeo said he was "unconcerned" that Trump's treatment of Canada - a close ally - boded poorly for his ability to forge peace with a longtime US adversary.

European officials said Trump had tried to water down the language in the draft final summit communique on the World Trade Organization and rules-based trade.

Trudeau says five of the G7 countries agreed to a plastics charter to further protect the environment and oceans.

The motion calls on the House to recognize the importance of Canada's "long-standing, mutually beneficial trading relationship" with the USA, "strongly oppose" the "illegitimate tariffs" imposed on steel and aluminum, stand "in solidarity" with the Trudeau government's decision to impose retaliatory tariffs and remain united in support of the supply management system of regulating Canada's dairy and poultry industry.

The G7's other attendees fear a looming trade war over the Trump administration's move to impose steep tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from the European Union, Canada and Mexico.

'Fallout 76' brings the apocalypse to West Virginia
Vault 76 has been mentioned several times in the Fallout games as one of the first vaults to have opened following the Great War. It's set just 20 years after which is much earlier than Fallout 4 that was timed at around 200 years after the nukes exploded.

Reacting to the same, Kudlow said, "Trudeau really kind of stabbed us in the back".

President Donald Trump's trade adviser Peter Navarro expressed regret Tuesday for having said there is "a special place in hell" for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

But Trudeau pointed to firm commitments from some members of the G7 to promote cleaner oceans and fund better access to education for girls in poor countries. "He learned", Trump said wagging his finger.

Still, other Trump advisers had taken up the attack in appearances on Sunday's news shows, leveling more withering and unprecedented criticism against Trudeau, branding him a back-stabber unworthy of Trump's time.

Mr Trump's looming summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un heightened tension, and White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow accused Mr Trudeau of betraying Mr Trump with "polarising" statements on trade policy that risked making the United States leader look weak on the eve of the historic North Korea summit. He had other things, bigger things on his plate in Singapore, he said.

She also said the European Union would "act" against the US trade measures.

His tweet, shortly after leaving Charlevoix in Quebec, came in response to what he claimed were "false statements" by the summit host, Canadian premier Justin Trudeau.

Kudlow alleged that the Canadian Prime Minister used the G-7 summit for his domestic political consumption. "The non-factual part of this is - they have enormous tariffs", Kudlow said on CNN's State of the Union.

McKenna commended Trudeau for refraining from personal attacks on the president and sticking to the substance of the trade disagreement. "They're also anxious about the retaliatory measures that we will take".

The president spoke at a spontaneous news conference at the G7 summit in Canada. "But it did not start with this G7, but with the election of Donald Trump", said a European official.
