Conor McGregor Releases Statement Following Court Hearing

The UFC star made a brief statement to reporters after a quick appearance at Brooklyn Criminal Court on Thursday.

Spoke briefly to Conor McGregor's manager @AudieAttar outside the courthouse about today's hearing and what's next in terms of the negotiations with the UFC.

If the former New York prosecutors are correct, McGregor would be legally eligible to return to the Octagon in late 2018, which of course, would make the highly-anticipated showdown against UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov a possibility if negotiations are successful.

A lot has happened to Notorious since he last stepped inside the Octagon at UFC 205 in November 2016 to fight Eddie Alvarez for the UFC Lightweight title, events that have taken his career to new heights, as well as new lows.
