Tropical Depression forms to the west

This is the third tropical system of the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking a tropical depression that has formed in the Atlantic Ocean.

2, with sustained winds of 35 miles per hour, is moving west-northwest in the central Atlantic between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles.

However, it is forecast to lose its intensity over the weekend.

Trump’s tweets have added $10 to oil prices, Iran’s OPEC boss says
Trump tweeted Wednesday: "The OPEC Monopoly must remember that gas prices are up & they are doing little to help". Futures closed just 0.3 per cent higher after surging past US$75 a barrel earlier in the session.

Tropical Depression Two had winds of 35 miles per hour. "Locally heavy rains and gusty winds" are likely on the Leeward Islands Sunday and Monday, the National Hurricane Center said.

A tropical storm warning remained in effect for Dominica and Guadeloupe, while a tropical storm watch was issued for Barbados, St. Lucia, Martinique, St. Martin, and St. Barthelemy, Saba and St. Eustatius and St. Maarten.

A tropical depression is expected to form over the next few days as this system migrates northwest over the weekend. This system is forecast to move northward, then northeastward, away from the United States.

"The system could degenerate into an open trough by the time it reaches the central Caribbean Sea and Hispaniola Monday night", it said.

Carmelo Anthony and Thunder may part ways this summer
If the Thunder kept him on the roster, they'd be due for a gargantuan luxury tax bill with a $310 million payroll. Melo struggled to adapt to a new role as a power forward last season and as a lesser cog in his team's offense.

Tropical Depression #3 continues to spin off the coast, about 160 miles south of Cape Hatteras. "It is because of these conditions that AccuWeather meteorologists do not expect Beryl to become a powerful hurricane", Walker said.

In the Atlantic, there are two waves we're watching. A fast westward to west-northwestward motion is expected through the weekend of July 7 and 8.

Many worry Beryl will cause power outages across Puerto Rico given the fragility of the USA territory's electrical grid after Maria destroyed up to 75 percent of its distribution lines previous year.

Previously, Klotzbach and Bell had forecast 14 named storms, including seven hurricanes, three of which they had expected would be major. The National Hurricane Center reported that Air Force recon would be flying into the storm Saturday morning for closer examination.
