Under the title "A lot can change in a day", the company advertised the showcase event slated for August 9 through three different video clips, each depicting everyday problems people face while using smartphones. It is said that Note 9 will come with an improved cooling system and S Pen and apparently an attention to the gaming world. Samsung places emphasis on storage; the Note 9 could hold 1 TB of (expandable) storage.

It also promises "the power to store more", confirming rumors that the Note 9 will offer up to 512GB of internal storage - as well as another 512GB through a microSD card. Furthermore, there were worries that the 512GB version of the Galaxy Note 9 wouldn't make it out of South Korea, but its leak on a New Zealand-based website suggests otherwise. Moreover, there's a dual-camera with a fingerprint sensor placed in the centre, beneath the cameras. As per the image, the device could be available in the Blue colour variant alongside a yellow stylus.
