Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and Galaxy A8 Star support pages go live

Samsung will be launching its Galaxy Note 9 phablet at its Unpacked Event in NY in a couple of days.

The upcoming Samsung phones are rumored to get an edge-to-edge display with even taller aspect ratio, an under-the-display fingerprint sensor along with 3D face-scanning technology.

Yoonsoo Kim, president of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, said: "At Samsung, our constant endeavour is to create products that will enrich consumers' lives".

According to reports, Fortnite will be exclusively available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 30 days after its official launch. Samsung has earlier confirmed that Note 9 will be available with a 512GB internal storage variant to oppose to Apple iPhones that max at 256GB of internal storage.

Carrie Underwood pregnant with second child
At the end of 2017, she suffered a awful fall outside her home, leaving her with a broken wrist and 40-50 stitches in her face. Country superstar Carrie Underwood announced she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting another bundle of joy.

Perhaps the most significant improvement to the Galaxy Note 9 will be its stylus, also known as the S Pen.

Little is being said about the device apart from the usual specs leaks as is usually the case with almost all smartphone brands before they launch.

The video that was copied and reposted before Samsung could pull out the original video shows the phablet to be "1TB ready smartphone" which can be expandable via microSD card.

The Galaxy Note 9 might also come with 6GB of RAM and as with the the Galaxy S9 and S9+, we are expecting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor inside the Note 9 too, with some models opting for the latest Samsung Exynos instead depending on region.

Trump going ahead with taxes on $16 billion in Chinese imports
Beijing, accusing the United States of trade bullying, has retaliated by imposing tariffs on an equal measure of American goods. The Asian economic powerhouse will add the tariffs on USA imports to measure the same tax placed on their exports, CNBC said.

Another specs highlight is a 12MP dual-lens rear camera, with one lens sporting an f/2.4 aperture and the other being able to switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4, the same camera setup as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. The price is expected to be at least £50 higher than Samsung Galaxy Note 8. At the top of the pile will be the iPhone XL (if that is indeed its name), a 6.5-inch beast of a phone created to go head-to-head with the Note 9.

In addition to Note 9, within the Unpacked is expected to announce a smart watch.

Local pricing is harder to peg down for now, but a recent leak placed the United Kingdom version of the 512GB model at £1 150 (~R19 955).

All will be revealed on 9th August, with the live stream set to kick off at 17:00 local time.
