Omarosa Manigault Newman says she secretly taped her White House firing

Manigault Newman told NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday that the campaign told her she didn't have to work to receive the salary.

George Conway, husband of Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway said that despite a claim in the book that Trump used a slur to refer to Conway's Filipino heritage, the lawyer who has not shied away from crticising Trump policies on Twitter said not only was it not true, it was "ridiculous, particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House-December 12, 2017".

In it, she paints a damming picture of President Donald Trump, including claiming that tapes exist of him using the N-word as he filmed his "The Apprentice" reality series.

Manigault Newman said in the book that she had not heard the recording, but Sunday she told host Chuck Todd that, after the book closed, she heard the recording.

"Hearing it changed everything for me", she told NPR reporter Rachel Martin. According to a published report by the media organization, when asked to clear up the discrepancy, the former White House aide said Martin must not have read the book.

TMZ caught the former White House staffer as she arrived at a Washington, D.C. airport ahead of a publicity blitz.

On the recording, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly can be heard talking to Omarosa in the Situation Room.

"Donald Trump is a con and has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities but when he talks that way, the way he did on this tape, it confirmed that he is truly a racist", Manigault Newman said.

"Donald Trump, who would attack civil rights icons and professional athletes, who would go after grieving black widows, who would say there were good people on both sides, who endorsed an accused child molester; Donald Trump, and his decisions and his behavior, was harming the country".

She explained, "They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined [Trump] is, how hard it is for him to process complex information, how he is not engaged in some of the most important decisions that impacts our country".

The yuan has declined by 8 percent this year against the dollar and by about 4 percent against a basket of global currencies. China, however, would run out of USA imports to levy, as it bought only $130 billion worth of American goods previous year .

"The riots in Charlottesville a year ago resulted in senseless death and division", he wrote.

Quoting Trump's early, post-inauguration speech at the Central Intelligence Agency lamenting his inauguration crowd, Manigault Newman takes some editorial liberty, adding within quotation marks that Trump says, "Liars!"

The author says she now regards Kelly's phrasing as a "very obvious" threat that justifies her secretly recording the meeting.

Manigualt was named by Pres. Donald Trump as his Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison. "We've all signed them in the West Wing". "So yes, I had to protect myself, and I have no regrets about it".
